ABOUT NICK HARRIS

Punter who made his NFL debut in 2001 for the Cincinnati Bengals; served as the Detroit Lions' punter from 2003 to 2010; set an NCAA record for most career punting yards with 13,621 and most career punts with 322, while playing for the University of California, Berkeley.

He received National Coaches' Association All-America honors as a senior at Westview High School in Avondale, Arizona.

He was selected in the 4th round of the 2001 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos, but was waived by the team, and signed by the Bengals.

He had four children with his wife Heather Harris.

He made the college football All-American team in 2000, along with fellow special teams player Santana Moss .
