ABOUT NICKY LOPEZ

Professional infielder that was drafted by the Kansas City Royals during the fifth round of the 2016 MLB Draft. Prior to being drafted, he attended Creighton University , where he played collegiate baseball for three years.

He began his professional career playing for the Royals' rookie affiliate team the Burlington Royals.

He made his major league debut playing against the Texas Rangers on May 14, 2019.

He is a native of Naperville, Illinois.

He played alongside Whit Merrifield during the 2021 MLB season.
