Two-time NHK Trophy winning ice dancer who also won the British Championships in 1985 and competed in two Olympics.
He was introduced to international competition with a 1st place finish at the 1976 World Junior Championships.
He had his highest Olympic result with a sixth place finish at the 1984 games.
He and his wife, Christiane Slater, have a son named Benjamin.
He partnered with Karen Barber at the 1980 and 1984 Olympics.
