Nicolas Raskin

ABOUT NICOLAS RASKIN

Professional central midfielder that was first signed by the Gent Athletic Club in 2018. He later signed a multi-year deal with the Rangers Football Club in January 2023. He has also played with the Standard Liège soccer team during his professional career.

He initially began his youth soccer career with Royal Stade Waremmien FC as a young child. He eventually joined the Standard Liège youth club in 2008.

He made his professional club debut with Gent while playing against Sint-Truiden on February 10, 2018. He and his team won the match 3-0. Throughout the course of his playing career, he appeared in more than 80 matches.

He was born and raised in the Liège, Belgium area. His father, Thierry, also played professional soccer.

He played alongside James Tavernier as a member of the Rangers Football Club during the 2023 Scottish Premiership League season.
