ABOUT NICOLE FRANKLIN

Award-winning filmmaker and founder of the independent film company, EPIPHANY Inc. She became the news director of the global streaming platform, kweliTV. She is best recognized as a host for publications such as The Good Men Project, Toronto's ByBlacks.com, and NBCBLK.

She obtained a masters in liberal studies and was a professor in broadcast journalism, digital production and multi-camera directing.

She founded the Hack4Hope joint project for St. Louis teens to help turn their ideas and aspirations into realities.

She's originally from St. Louis, Missouri. She studied mass communication at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

She worked on the news program OJ Simpson : The Trial while at KNBC-TV in Los Angeles.
