ABOUT NIKI MAHAJAN

Fashion designer who is the founder and creative director of fashion label Niki Mahajan. She is known for her colorful, clean cut silhouettes and intricate hand work, and has 100,000 followers on Instagram.

She studied English Literature at Lady Shriram College.

She developed her own type of fabric called "reeds", made by splitting grass and treating it with natural elements. In 2013 she won the Yuv Ratan award of excellence for production of unique fabrics.

Her sister is Shingini Mukherjee. She and her husband had a baby in February 2019.

Divya Khosla Kumar wore a dress by Mahajan to the Lokmat Maharashtrian Of The Year Award in 2017.
