Actor and television host most well recognized as the face of the Food Network Canada series Carnival Eats. He also appeared on 2015's Great Canadian Cookbook and has had recurring roles in Di-Gata Defenders, The Dating Guy, and The Good Witch.

His early teens were trademarked with musical theatre performances. He then made his screen breakthrough in 1997 in the short film Ursa Major.

In 2016, he became the host of the Canadian version of the popular reality series The Bachelorette.

He is one of eight children, with four brothers and three sisters. His wife's name is Keri West. They adopted their daughter Wolfie in 2021.

In 2014, he appeared as Travis in Bitten alongside Laura Vandervoort .
