ABOUT NORMAN HUNTER
Legendary central defender for Leeds United, who spent 14 years with the club, and six more with Bristol and Barnsley.
He joined Leeds at age 15, giving up his electrical fitter apprenticeship.
He was nicknamed Bites Yer Legs, after a fan-made banner held up in the 1972 FA Cup final. The banner was noticed by announcer Brian Clough .
He was born in Gateshead, County Durham, England.
Gordon Brown awarded him a medal for his role on the 1966 English team that won the World Cup.
