Daughter of rapper, comedian, and singer John Whitfield, better known as DcYoungFly who has appeared on MTV's Wild 'N Out .

Her parents began dating in 2015.

Her mother released an lip gloss collection named after her called J.nova.

Her mother, Ms Jacky Oh , is a model and actress who has also appeared on Wild 'N Out. She has a younger sister named Nala and a brother named Prince. Her mother passed away in May 2023.

She and Ice Cube posed for a photo together while they were both sitting court side at a basketball game.
