ABOUT NYARA SABALLY

Former first round pick, basketball player, and athlete that was taken by the New York Liberty during the 2022 WNBA Draft. As a member of the Liberty, she won a WNBA championship and the WNBA Commissioner's Cup Champion. In addition to her WNBA career, she has also played basketball professionally in the Czech Republic.

Prior to being drafted, she played collegiate basketball at the University of Oregon . She also played for the German youth national team.

As a redshirt junior, she became the first PAC-12 player in over a decade to average 15 points, 7 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.3 steals and 1 block during an entire season. She finished her collegiate career with 666 points, 354 rebounds and 87 assists.

She is the youngest sister of WNBA player Isatou Sabally . She was born of German and Gambian descent.

She played alongside Breanna Stewart as a member of the New York Liberty during the 2024 WNBA season.
