ABOUT OL'GA BARABANSCHIKOVA

Professional Belarusian tennis player who is known for playing in both singles and doubles matches and is best known for her WTA Tour finals performances.

With a passion for the sport early on, she began playing professionally in 1995. She went on to compete in her first US Open in 1997.

Her highest WTA singles ranking was number 49 which she reached on March 2, 1998.

She was born in Minsk, Soviet Union but was raised in Belarus. She married her long term partner Luanne in 2008.

She partnered with Natasha Zvereva at the World Beach Tennis Championship in Rome.
