ABOUT OLIVIER PANIS

Former professional race car driver who is recognized for having competed in Formula One for ten seasons. He landed his sole win at the 1996 Monaco Grand Prix for the Ligier team.

Like many other Formula One racers, he began his career racing karts as a child.

He made his professional debut in the 1994 Brazilian Grand Prix. He placed 11th during the event.

He married his wife Anne Panis in 1996.

During his career he raced against fellow driver Damon Hill .
