He used to play soccer in high school and started playing for the Hayden Youth Senior team in February 2015.

He was born in England to parents Nicky and Leigh. He has two brothers, one of whom is named Elliot. He was romantically linked to Hannah Finnis in January 2011.

His brother has toured alongside pop singer Perrie Edwards .
