ABOUT OTI MABUSE

Dancer first known on the German rendition of Strictly Come Dancing , she made an appearance on the thirteenth series of the original British series. She also became a South African Latin American Champion more than half a dozen times.

She began dancing as a child. She eventually went on to study civil engineering, but she abandoned her studies to pursue her career in dance.

She earned first place at the German Championship PD Freestyle Latin and second at the European Championship Latin in 2014. She later hosted a breakfast show for ITV.

Her sister Motsi is also a professional dancer and served as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing in Germany. In 2014, she married fellow dancer Marius iepure. In August 2023, they announced that they were expecting a child. In December 2023, they welcomed their daughter.

She partnered with boxer Anthony Ogogo when she starred on Strictly Come Dancing.
