ABOUT OWEN PAPPOE

NFL linebacker who was originally selected by the Arizona Cardinals as a fifth-round pick in the 2023 Draft. Before being drafted, he played college football at Auburn University . As a senior, he was named a finalist for the Dick Butkus Award, which is awarded to the top linebackers in all of the NCAA.

He was considered a five-star prospect while at Grayson High School. During his senior year, he was named Georgia's High School Defensive Player of the Year.

He was twice named team captain while at Auburn University, where he became only the fourth football player ever to achieve this feat while at Auburn. He recorded 610 tackles during his four-year collegiate career.

He was born and raised in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He is one of four siblings.

He was coached by Gus Malzahn during his collegiate football career at Auburn.
