ABOUT PAT MARSDEN
A popular sportscaster and sports director who is remembered for being the voice of Canadian Football League coverage in the 1970's and 80's.
He graduated from the University of Ottawa and soon began his career after working at the TV station CKOY.
He was the sports director at the Toronto TV station CFTO, where he covered national and local sporting competitions.
He was married twice; he and his first wife Barbara had three children; he and his second wife Terry had two more.
He and former ABC News anchor Peter Jennings both attended the University of Ottawa.
