ABOUT PATO MACHETE
Mexican rapper and singer who gained popularity as part of Mexican hip hop group Control Machete. Currently he is the main singer in the Cumbia and hip hop band, Ronda Machetera. He has over 120,000 followers on Instagram, where he posts under the handle patomachete.
His group, Control Machete, moved to the mainstream in the year 1999 after their song "Sí Señor" was used as backing in the Levi's Super Bowl television commercial "Crazy Legs."
His new group, Ronda Machetera, had their first show in June 2023, and is known for hits like "Cumbia Patria," "Ileso," and "Mi Ala." The band is made up of drummer, Xulio Cezhar, guitarist, Tannia Treviño, bassist, Daniel Melero, accordionist, Daniel Martinez Piña, and more.
His real name is Patricio Chapa Elizalde and he was born in Monterrey, Mexico.
