Canadian race car driver who won 5 Champ Car Series races from 2001 to 2004.
He was named 1997 CART Rookie of the Year.
He competed in his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at the 2007 Centurion Boats at the Glen.
He had two children, Anais and Loic, with his wife Anick.
AJ Allmendinger replaced him, racing for Gillett Evernham Motorsports in 2008.
