Stand-up comedian and actor who voiced the rat Remy in the animated film Ratatouille and played the role of Spencer Olchin on TV's The King of Queens .

He first worked as a writer for MADtv and was featured in a comedy special on HBO.

He starred in the Showtime's United States of Tara and he became the narrator of the ABC series The Goldbergs . In 2015, he began voicing the character Nom Nom on the Cartoon Network series We Bare Bears .

His brother is comedian Matt Oswalt . He married writer Michelle Eileen McNamara in 2005 and they had a daughter in 2009. Michelle passed away in 2016. He married Meredith Salenger in 2017.

He appeared in 22 Jump Street starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill .
