ABOUT PAUL JEFFREYS

English bassist who played for Be-Bop Deluxe and Cockney Rebel before his untimely death in the Lockerbie bombing.

He began his career playing for the band Cockney Rebel.

In addition to playing bass, he also wrote songs for the Electric Eels and Linda and the Prophets.

He married Rachel Jones.

Former Libyan ruler Muammar Gaddafi accepted responsibility for the Lockerbie bombing, which killed Jeffreys.
