ABOUT PAUL SILLS
Theatre director best known as the first-ever director of the influential improv comedy troupe The Second City. He was inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame in 2011.
He founded the Playwright's Theater Club while a student at the University of Chicago.
His Second City improv group has produced some of the most recognizable names in American comedy, including John Belushi and Chris Farley .
His mother is "Improvisation for the Theater" author Viola Spolin.
He was married to "Freaky Friday" actress Barbara Harris until their divorce in 1959.
