ABOUT PAUL VAN LOON

Dutch children's author and singer known for writing horror stories aimed at younger audiences. He is best known for his Alfie the Werewolf series.

He originally worked as an illustrator.

His books have been sold around the world, including in Germany, France, Italy, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Sweden, Spain and Japan.

He married Hadjidja van Loon.

He appeared in the 2005 film Gruesome School Trip, starring Lisa Smit and Willem Nijholt. The film was based on his book series.
