ABOUT PETE HEGSETH

Army National Guard officer and former executive director of political advocacy groups Vets For Freedom and Concerned Veterans for America. He is also known as the co-host of FOX & Friends Weekend and host of multiple series on FOX Nation.

He attended Forest Lake Area High School. In 2003, he received his Bachelor of Arts at Princeton University , where he was the publisher of The Princeton Tory. In 2013, he received a Master of Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University .

He is the author of the books, "In the Arena," "American Crusade," and "Battle for the American Mind: Uprooting a Century of Miseducation." His television fame has led him to amass more than 360,000 followers on his petehegseth Instagram page.

He is the son of Penelope Hegseth and Brian Hegseth. He has been married to Jennifer Rauchet since 2019. He was previously married to Samantha Hegseth and Meredith Schwarz. He has seven children.

In 2016, he emerged as a strong supporter and ally of Donald Trump 's presidential candidacy and served as an occasional advisor to Trump throughout the latter's presidency.
