ABOUT PETE QUAIFE

1960s rock bassist who helped co-found The Kinks and released with them the album The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society.

He formed his first band, The Ravens, in 1963.

He left The Kinks in 1969 and formed his last band, Mapleoak.

He fathered one daughter and has been twice divorced.

He was bandmates with drummer Mick Avory in The Kinks.
