ABOUT PETER BALTES
German bassist best known as a longtime member of heavy metal band Accept. He saw mainstream success with Accept's 1984 single "Balls to the Wall." He departed the band in 2018 before going on to play alongside former Accept vocalist Udo Dirkschneider in Dirkschneider & the Old Gang.
He joined Accept in 1976.
He played bass on Don Dokken 's 1990 solo album Up from the Ashes. He also collaborated with Scorpions for their 1988 album Savage Amusement.
He is from Solingen, Germany.
He and Wolf Hoffmann were bandmates in Accept.
