Musician whose playing was described as "close to the soul of music, filling the space with poetry and life" by critics.
He was a student at the Nice conservatoire after which he would study with the famed Gaby Casadesus and Vitalij Margulis.
He debuted at Carnegie Hall in 1987, which opened up for him a career of international concertizing.
His family nurtured his talents from a young age. He had come in first in Belgrade's Jeunesses musicales competition by 17.
He was awarded the Silver Medal at the 1985 Van Cliburn Competition.
