He started racing dirt bikes at the age of 8.

He joined Bill Davis Racing to drive the #22 Toyota Tundra in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series during the 2008 season.

He had three children with his wife Donna.

He competed in the 2008 Kroger 250, which was won by Dennis Setzer .
