ABOUT PHILLIPE NOVER

Ring of Combat lightweight champion who became well known for making it to the finals of The Ultimate Fighter: Team Nogueira vs. Team Mir. He is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

He began training in martial arts when he was 10 years old and began fighting Pro MMA in 2003. He trained at Universal Defense Systems.

While fighting, he also worked as a registered nurse in a Brooklyn hospital having completed his Bachelor's degree at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.

He is Filipino-American and was born and raised in Brooklyn.

He was defeated by Rob Emerson by unanimous decision in UFC 109.
