ABOUT PINARAYI VIJAYAN

Chief Minister of Kerala and selected member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly. As of 2022, he is the longest-serving secretary in the Kerala State Committee of the Marxist Communist Party of India.

He first joined the Marxist Communist Party of India in 1964.

He was appointed the Chief Minister of Kerala for the first time in May 2016.

He is a native of Kannur, India. He lives with his wife, Kamala, and their two children.

Prior to serving as the Chief Minister of Kerala, the position was held by Oommen Chandy .
