ABOUT PRESTON LEA

Member of the Republican Party who served as Governor of Delaware from 1905 to 1909. He abolished the state pillory and passed a law requiring children to attend at least three months of schooling.

He took over his father's flour mill company, William Lea & Sons, and was also the President of the Wilmington Board of Trade in 1873.

He was part of the organization, Union Republicans.

He had three children with his first wife, Adelaide Moore, and one child with his second wife, Eliza Naudain Corbit.

He is a politician who represented Delaware like Joe Biden .
