ABOUT PRINCESS ELEONORE

Belgian royal family member who is the second daughter of King Philippe of Belgium and Mathilde of Belgium. Upon her birth, she became the fourth member of the family in line to the Belgian throne. She practices sailing and cycling.

She was born at Erasmus Hospital, weighing seven pounds.

She was baptized by Cardinal Godfried Danneels in the chapel of Ciergnon Castle in June 2008. She can play the violin and loves to read and draw.

She is in line to throne behind her older siblings Princess Elisabeth , Prince Gabriel and Prince Emmanuel.

She and Princess Marie-Esmeralda were both born into the Belgian royal family.
