Director, actor, and producer of British and Bollywood films like Kasaan, The Steal, and I - Proud to Be an Indian.
He started working as a child actor in the UK at age nine when he appeared in the film Annie Besant.
He was given the Best Director award for Kisaan at the 2009 SAFF Film Festival in Los Angeles, California.
He married actress and screenwriter Vekeana Dhillon in 2010.
He was an assistant director on the 1991 film Can You Hear Me Thinking? starring Judi Dench .
