ABOUT RAFAEL SARMIENTO

Mexican television presenter, film and music commentator, and actor known for his work with TNT Latin America and for his coverage of the Oscars. He is also known for hosting the Brujas Cinema Podcast, the La Resolana show, and maintaining a presence on Instagram.

He grew up with an interest in entertainment. He began working as an actor and TV show host in the late 1990s. His big career break was becoming a host with TNT Latin America. He then became a yearly Oscars host.

He has been part of over 25 Oscar broadcasts. He is fluent in both Spanish and English.

He has two children with Jimena Pérez. One of his children has autism.

He is the brother of Mexican television host and journalist Atala Sarmiento .
