Ragnar Nurkse
ABOUT RAGNAR NURKSE
Estonian economist and policy maker who is best known for developing Ragnar Nurkse's balanced growth theory.
He was educated at the University of Tartu, the University of Edinburgh, and the University of Vienna.
He lectured at Universities throughout the United States and became a professor at Princeton University.
He married American Harriet Berger in 1946.
He was born in the same country as politician Juri Vilms .
