ABOUT RAHEEM APPLEBY

Basketball guard who committed to Louisiana Tech in 2011 after becoming a highly-recruited prospect out of Jacksonville High School. He was named WAC Freshman of the Year and Second-Team All-WAC during his first season with the Bulldogs.

He was twice named to the All-State team at Jacksonville.

He was named College Sports Madness WAC Player of the Year for his sophomore season.

He has brothers named Stan, Devin and Tyree as well as a sister named Shakyla.

He and NBA All-Star Paul Millsap both played college basketball at Louisiana Tech.
