ABOUT RALPH SIMPSON

Former ABA and NBA shooting guard/small forward whose career spanned from 1970 to 1980; 5-time ABA All-Star while playing for the Denver Rockets and Denver Nuggets from 1970 to 1976.

He helped lead Pershing High School to a Michigan state championship in 1967, playing alongside future NBA star Spencer Haywood .

He was selected 11th overall in the 1972 NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls, but never played a game for the team.
