Swiss tennis player who became known after becoming the junior champion of the 2016 French Open. Prior to that she had also reached the semifinals of the junior Australian Open.

She was inspired to play tennis after watching Roger Federer play his first Wimbledon final in 2003.

She made her WTA singles debut at Gstaad in 2016 and beat the former number one Jelena Jankovic in the first round.

She was born in Basel, Switzerland to a Spanish mother and a Slovakian father.

She is from the same hometown as tennis star Roger Federer .
