Boston Celtics small forward who tragically died of heart failure on the court at the age of 27. He played for the Boston Celtics for 6 seasons. He was number 35.

He was drafted 22nd overall by the Celtics in 1987 after a standout college career at Northeastern University.

He was on track for a promising career, becoming the first Celtic in history to record 100 rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals in a season. His death was attributed specifically to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which is common in young athletes.

He married Donna Harris in 1991.

He was teammates with Larry Bird for the entirety of his short NBA career.
