ABOUT RENE SYLER

Broadcast journalist who co-hosted The Early Show on the CBS News network from 2002-2006.

After studying psychology at California State University-Sacramento, she worked as a reporter for a Reno, Nevada television station.

She published her debut book, Good Enough Mother: the Perfectly Imperfect Book Of Parenting, in 2007.

She was born on an Air Force base in Illinois and was raised in California. She and her husband, Buff Parham, settled in Westchester, New York with their two children.

She once interviewed former U.S. First Lady Laura W. Bush .
