ABOUT REVA BECK BOSONE

Politician and member of the Democratic Party who was a US Congresswoman from Utah's 2nd congressional district from 1949 to 1953.

She got a degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1919 before becoming a high school teacher.

She was the first woman elected to Congress from Utah.

She had one child with her husband Joseph and she was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Like Mitt Romney she was a Mormon politician.
