Became known after appearing on Bravo's reality series, First Family of Hip Hop. The show focuses on hip hop producer, Sylvia Robinson's revived record label, Sugarhill Records.

He has been involved in the family business since 2008.

His father was vice president of Sugarhill Music.

His father died in 2014 due to multiple organ dysfunction syndrome.

He was inspired to start making his own beats after hearing the Clipse song "Grindin'" featuring Pharrell Williams .
