ABOUT RICARDO LUCARELLI

Former gold medalist who won in the men's tournament at the Olympic Games in Rio in 2016. He was also a 2019 World Cup winner; he has played in countries such as Brazil and Italy. He is also a member of the Brazilian men's national team.

He initially began his professional volleyball career playing for the Minas Tênis Clube in 2010.

After defeating Team Italy in the championship match, he won his first and only Olympic gold medal during the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

He was born and raised in the Contagem, Brazil area.

He and teammate Murilo Endres were named Best outside spiker together.
