ABOUT RICHARD HEUBERGER
Austrian composer and music instructor who composed the ballets Die Lautenschlägerin and Struwwelpeter as well as several operas and operettas.
He originally studied engineering, but left that pursuit and entered the Graz Conservatory.
He was the director of the Vienna Men's Choral Association and an instructor at the Vienna Conservatory for many years.
He was born in Graz, Austria, but spent most of his life in Vienna.
Arnold Schoenberg was also a notable instructor at the Vienna Conservatory.
