ABOUT RICHARD PALACIOS
Professional outfielder and utilityman that was drafted by the Cleveland Indians during the third round of the 2018 MLB Draft. Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at Towson University where he was twice named a member of the second team All-CAA.
He graduated from the Berkeley Carroll School in Park Slope, Brooklyn. While there, he won three-straight league championships.
He made his major league debut playing against the Los Angeles Angels on April 25, 2022. He recorded his first MLB hit during his first at-bat.
He is a native of Brooklyn, New York. His brother, Josh, played college baseball at Auburn University . His uncle, Rey Palacios, also played Major League Baseball.
His favorite baseball player growing up was Robinson Cano .
