ABOUT RICK HUSEMAN
Late race car driver who passed away when a plane he was on unsuccessfully attempted an emergency landing in the Mojave desert. He is remembered by racing fans for victories like the 2009 Traxxas TORC Series.
He worked at a Ford dealership in his home town of Riverside, California.
He was named Driver of the Year by DirtSports Magazine in 2010.
His brother Jeff was also on board the ill-fated flight but managed to survive the crash.
He and fellow race car driver David Gilliland are both from Riverside, California.
