Rick Sullivan

ABOUT RICK SULLIVAN

American Democratic politician who began serving as Massachusetts Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs in 2011. He had previously held office as Mayor of Westfield, Massachusetts.

He attended Bates College in Maine and obtained his J.D. from the Western New England School of Law.

After his term as mayor, he was appointed Commissioner of the Department of Conservation and Recreation for Massachusetts, a post that he held from 2007 to 2011.

His marriage to Lisa Sullivan produced three children.

He was appointed Massachusetts Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs during the gubernatorial administration of Deval Patrick .
