
Rima Elizabeth Horton
ABOUT RIMA ELIZABETH HORTON
English politician who served as a Labour Party councillor on the Kensington and Chelsea London Borough Council. She was a member of the council from 1986 until 2006. She also ran twice as a Labour candidate for Parliament but lost both times.
She attended an all-girls school called St. Vincent de Paul primary school and graduated from the University of Southampton.
She has worked as a lecturer at Kingston University.
She was the second of three children born to her parents, Elice Irene and Wilfred Stewart Horton.
She was the long-time partner and eventual wife of actor Alan Rickman . She married Rickman in 2012 but they first became a couple in 1977.
