ABOUT ROB VAN DER LOO
Dutch bassist, musician, instrumentalist, artist, performer, and entertainer who is known for his work in the symphonic metal genre. He played on Delain's 2009 album April Rain. In the year 2012, he joined the Dutch symphonic metal band Epica.
He started playing the bass at the young age of 15. He was an original member of the progressive metal band Sun Caged, formed in the year 1999.
He featured the members of Sabaton in a photo posted to his Instagram account on the date of October 2, 2022. He is also a music teacher and he has taught at the Metal Factory, which is the world's first heavy metal academy.
His cat Geddy passed away in the year 2023.
He has played with the guitar virtuosos Bumblefoot and John Petrucci .
