ABOUT ROGER O'DONNELL
English keyboardist, pianist, instrumentalist, musician, entertainer, performer, and artist who joined The Cure in the year 1987. He played on the band's celebrated 1989 album Disintegration. He has also performed as a session and/or touring keyboardist for other prominent '80s acts such as Thompson Twins, the Psychedelic Furs, and Berlin.
He ended a brief stint in art school to pursue a career as a gigging musician.
He was interviewed for a feature published on the Synth History website in March of 2023. In the interview, he cited Herbie Hancock as one of his musical inspirations.
He was born in London, England to a musical family.
He and Robert Smith have performed together as bandmates in The Cure.
