ABOUT RON BARBER
Politician who was elected to represent Arizona in the US House of Representatives in 2012 following the assassination attempt on Representative Gabrielle Gifford.
He earned a B.A. from the University of Arizona in 1967.
He was injured in the 2011 Tucson shooting that occurred during a constituent meeting held in a supermarket parking lot in Casas Adobes, Arizona.
He has two daughters with his wife Nancy.
He won the special election to finish Gabrielle Giffords ' term in 2012 after serving as her as district director.
